🏆 Congratulations, Cameroon!
JCC Football Agency extends our warmest congratulations to Cameroon on winning the 2026 WAFCON title.
Cameroon produced an outstanding performance in the final to defeat Malawi 3–0 and secure their first Women’s Africa Cup of Nations championship. A well-deserved achievement. 🇨🇲🏆
We celebrate the champions while also recognising the incredible achievement of the Malawi Scorchers.
🇲🇼 MALAWI SCORCHERS — A JOURNEY OF BRAVERY, BELIEF & HISTORY
The Malawi Scorchers have completed a remarkable journey at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
Making their debut at the tournament, Malawi arrived as underdogs but showed tremendous courage, determination and belief throughout the competition.
From stunning defending champions Nigeria 3–2, to progressing through the knockout stages, securing their first-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification, and reaching the WAFCON Final, the Scorchers have created a historic chapter in Malawian football.
Although Malawi fell 3–0 to Cameroon in the final, their achievement remains extraordinary. They have shown the continent and the world that Malawi women’s football belongs on the biggest stage.
