Jerome Sean Kalombola Travels to León for Trials
JCC Football Agency is proud to announce that Malawian rising talent Jerome Sean Kalombola has travelled to León to continue pursuing his professional football journey through a new round of trials.
Jerome’s football story is one built on ambition, character, and relentless belief in his ability. His rise first caught attention at Kamuzu Academy, where he finished as the top goal scorer during the 2019 inter-school competition against Saint Andrews International High School and Bishop Mackenzie International School while still in 10th grade. It was an early glimpse of the instinct, hunger, and confidence that continue to define him today.
From there, Jerome continued his development at the Dare to Dream Academy between 2023 and 2024, where he sharpened every aspect of his game. His technical ability improved, his physical strength grew, and his understanding of the game matured with every challenge he faced.
In 2023, Jerome became one of the youngest players to join Lusaka Dynamos, stepping confidently into a more competitive environment and proving that he could compete beyond his years. He also impressed at Lusaka City Temple with performances that consistently showcased his quality and personality on the ball.
Describing his own game, Jerome says:
“I play with confidence and composure, always comfortable on the ball and willing to take responsibility under pressure. My style is technical, creative, and expressive — I enjoy carrying the ball forward, linking play, and creating moments that change the game. I combine flair with intelligence, staying calm in tight spaces and making football look smooth and natural. I let my performances speak for themselves and always try to play with freedom, personality, and purpose.”
Now taking another important step in his career with trials in León, Jerome carries with him valuable lessons gained through experience, sacrifice, and perseverance.
“My experience gave me the real intensity feeling of being a professional football player. It’s not easy, but perseverance plays a huge role and mindset is everything. Telling yourself you’re the best can take you anywhere. You just need to persevere, and that’s what I’ve learnt so far.”
At JCC Football Agency, we believe Jerome represents the next generation of fearless African talent — players willing to work, adapt, and push themselves beyond comfort zones in pursuit of greatness.
We are proud to support Jerome Sean Kalombola on this journey and look forward to what comes next as he continues to chase his dream at the highest level.
